Lil Wayne makes diss record directed at Birdman

If you were skeptical about the beef with Lil Wayne and Birdman of Cash Money then this Song, titled “Coco” should change your mind. It’s from Lil Wayne’s recently released mixtape “Sorry for the wait 2” in which Weezy take direct shots at Birdman with lyrics like:

[Verse 1]
Who kept this shit together? Nigga, me, that’s who
Who was there when niggas left us? Nigga, me, that’s who
Cash Money is an army, I’m a one man army
And if them niggas comin’ for me, I’m goin’ out like Tony
Now I don’t want no problems, I just want my money
Ain’t gotta hold no conversation or my luggage
Tell whoever’s countin’ that I’m on a hundred
Birdman Jr., more like Ugly Duckling

Takin’ over, now I’m takin’ over
Think it’s over? Bitch I’m thinkin’ forward
I’m sippin’ lean out a glass, nigga
All I got is Young Money, no more Cash, nigga

For you cat’s that not hip to HipHop those are serious bars that only Weezy can shoot. It’s a direct hit to the empire of Cash Money. Right about now I take it Baby aka Birdman is running around like a Chicken with his head cut off. The only question that flashes in his head is “What am I gonna do with Weezy“?
But people you must understand Birdman called Weezy son and even kisses him on the mouth from time to time. Why put your shining star on the backburner to tend to other shit? Everyone knows Birdman is giving Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan all the attention. Does he thick Lil Wayne has met his time and no longer relevant?

Well Birdman also gotta eat the fact that Drake, Nicki Minaj, and other artists belongs to Lil Wayne imprint Young Money. So when the dust settles from all the court shit Wayne still got Young Money. Overall, I smell a demise of the Cash Money Empire. They’ve had their time. Now they need someone who can ride the legacy in the future. That’s why Thugga and Quan is in play. Also, As XXL reported no ones getting their proper due. 25 artists signed to Cash Money and never once saw an album release. Yea, it’s about to end for them. They had a nice run though…
